PUBLICATION OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES FOR NIGERIAN NAVY BASIC TRAINING SCHOOL BATCH 38

The Nigerian Navy has officially released the list of successful candidates for the Basic Training School Batch 38 Recruitment. This marks a significant step forward for thousands of applicants who have been waiting for confirmation of their selection into one of Nigeria’s most respected military institutions.

Candidates who participated in the recruitment exercise can now check their status online through the official Nigerian Navy recruitment portal. This announcement brings both excitement and responsibility, as successful candidates are expected to begin preparations immediately for their training.

Successful candidates are required to report for training at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Onne, Rivers State, on Saturday, 11 April 2026. This date is critical, and all selected individuals must ensure timely arrival, as the Navy maintains strict adherence to schedules and discipline.

To confirm their selection, candidates are advised to visit the official portal:

Beyond checking their names, candidates must also complete essential documentation. One of the most important requirements is the Parent or Guardian Consent Form. This form must be downloaded from the official Nigerian Navy website, properly filled, signed by a parent or guardian, and endorsed by a recognized court of law. It must be stamped and presented upon resumption at the training school. Failure to provide this document will lead to automatic disqualification, regardless of a candidate’s selection status.

In addition to documentation, candidates are expected to report with specific items required for training. These include photocopies of their application form, NIN slip, original and photocopies of academic credentials, WAEC and NECO scratch cards, BVN printout, and two recent passport photographs.

Candidates must also come prepared with personal and training materials. These include navy blue physical training shorts, white round neck vests, white and brown canvas shoes, white long sleeve shirts, black trousers, black ties, and a pair of black shoes. They are also required to bring white long socks, native wear, cutleries, bed sheets, blankets, mosquito net, and toiletries.

Female candidates have additional requirements, including gym or sports bras and black short tights, ensuring they are fully prepared for the physical demands of training.

The Nigerian Navy emphasizes discipline and strict compliance with instructions. All successful candidates must report no later than 14 April 2026. Failure to meet this deadline will result in automatic disqualification, and the opportunity will be given to other candidates without further notice.

This recruitment exercise reflects the Navy’s commitment to strengthening national security and building a capable force of young Nigerians ready to serve their country. For successful candidates, this is not just an achievement but the beginning of a demanding and honorable journey.

Candidates are therefore advised to take this opportunity seriously, prepare adequately, and report as instructed. The Nigerian Navy remains one of the pillars of national defense, and joining its ranks requires dedication, discipline, and patriotism.
